TOI-560c

TOI-560c Results and Analysis

A planet of rocky composition, its radius is 2.388 that of the Earth, its mass is 9.70 times that of the Earth. It has an orbital period of 18.8779 days. The distance to its host star is 0.1824 AU and it has a density of 3.9740 g/cm^3. It was discovered in 2021 by the TESS survey, in its characteristics it is believed to be similar to Neptune, it has a large rocky composition and an average temperature of 925 °C.

Compared to other planets in the solar system, TOI-560 c is a rocky planet with more than 2 times the radius of Earth, a density very similar to that of Mars, and an orbital distance even closer than that of Mercury to Sun (0.1824 AU). In addition, its speed is considerable due to its proximity to its star, becoming almost 5 times faster than Mercury (4.66 Approx.). Its mass is similar to that of Saturn and its temperature is similar to that of Mercury.
