KELT-3b

KELT-3b project description:

Our goal with the project is to encourage interest in astronomy among young students. In our country, there aren’t many extracurricular activities of this kind that apply real data to solve real problems. When students realize that the knowledge they acquire in mathematics and physics is applied to determine the characteristics of exoplanets, they recognize the immense value of science in helping them understand subjects beyond what they believed was possible.

TOI-560c

TOI-560c project description:

Applying the procedures to determine the characteristics of this planet showed the students how far they can go with the help of the instruments available today. It was necessary to recall and consolidate some content that is not usually taken into account in the physics curriculum, which gave them a new perspective on science.
